    3:55 or 3:73 gears

    I have had 3.73 gears on my SRT-10 vert for almost a year. I have to shift like I did when I had my 02 M3. In the winter I had hookup problems due to the runflats, but it was very manageable. Overall, I have been very pleased.

    There was such an uproar, mostly in the US, over the new M5 having only the SMG 7 speed gearbox that BMW is releasing a 6-speed manual this fall. Americans don't seem to be as infatuated with driving like Michael Schumacher as the Europeans are.

    I have had my Viper since August 2005. I drive it every non-rainy day. Why buy such a nice machine just to look at it in the garage? It is like putting plastic on your furniture. Are you keeping it nice for someone else to enjoy in the future?

    Cat Back Exhaust for 2006 Coupe

    I went with the Mopar Street exhaust installed by my Viper tech at the local Dodge dealer. I figured there would be less warranty hassles with a Mopar product. It has a nice burble on start up and when you go over 3500 on the tach it sounds like the Second Coming.
