Congrats. I was soooooo close to buying that exact car a couple of weeks back but ultimately decided on silver from Benchmark in Birmingham. They were great to deal with and the car was perfect when I picked it up and drove it back to Atlanta. I love my new car!
Thanks. I'd love to have both but really not practical. Wife has no issue with whatever I decide since I'm the one who has to pay!
I think I need to find someone in the Atlanta area who can link up with me and let me get a feel for the Gen V before I decide. I'm already looking at one but...
Seriously thinking about making the move from my 2010 Gen IV to a 2015 Gen V. Hard to decide because I love my current vert. Toxic orange with black stripes, full tan leather interior, custom audio, and only 2500 miles. Thoughts?
Recent transplant to the northside of Atlanta. Anyone have any recommendations for help/advise with lowering and new exhaust for my Gen IV? Did an oilchange at Palmer Dodge but they couldn't provide any useful help for that. Appreciate any info or advice.
I'm considering getting into a Gen V but am pretty specific about what I'm seeking. Looking for a billet silver and would prefer the GTS with a SRT hood if possible. I'll be selling or trading my Gen IV....2010 Vert in Toxic Orange/Black Stripes with tan all leather interior and tan top...2500...
Just thought I'd finally get around to sharing some pics of my the Gen IV I picked up recently. Stock except for catback exhaust, short shifter, polished intake, and new audio throughout. Used but new with 1600 miles. Hope you like because I sure do.
I may be purchasing a Gen IV convertible soon so thought I'd ask all those more knowledgeable than me what performance and appearance mods might be worth an investment. It already has a short throw shifter and a cat-back exhaust installed. Appreciate the advice.
Update - the dealer reduced the price of the TO Gen IV from 95K to 82K. Car has 1500 miles, polished intake, short throw shifer, 6-spokes, Corsa exhaust, and factory nav. Reasonable price?
I agree that the Gen IV is overpriced and unless it adjusts to something more reasonable I'll be passing on that one. I think the Gen IV is a great car but I also love a tastefully modded and maintained Gen III and the one I'm looking at appears to be just that. Still looking at options and...
Great to read all the good posts. I love the look of the car but am not about to pay a large amount of money on something that might have more issues than is disclosed. I emailed the seller last night for more info but so far haven't gotten anything. The search goes on!
Scott - when you called to have the VIN checked what did you tell the Dodge dealer? They just did it at your request. I'd be interested in this car but definitely not if there's been an accident or repainted a non-standard color for that year.
Scott...I appreciate the posts and advice. You're exactly right about the 2010 TO being overpriced. That's one of the primary reasons I've not pulled the trigger on it. The more I read and hear the more I think they're a little unrealisticly high. It's interesting that there's another one...
All good points. As much as I'd like the Gen IV, I think I'm leaning towards the Gen III for all the reasons some have stated. Love the idea of a SC Viper with the rumble out the pipes that it produces. I also like that most of the mods I would want are already done and tuning by ART should...
Thanks for all the great comments. I've had a couple of modded Vipers...Gen II with ROE. This one is dynoed at 700 HP and love the polished Novi and intake. Sounds great as well. I have to admit I love the black and red interior on the Mamba. I think it would be hot looking with a Gen IV...
