    What about the spark plug anti fouler trick? Wouldn't this be enough to trick the pcm, or do you feel that this would just be a temporary solution also?

    If you can hear clicking from the rear end, it almost always means that you need to add a bottle of friction modifier (also called slip lock additive). Once you add the friction modifier, go to an open parking lot and do a couple of figure eights. This will cure the sticking clutch packs.

    GenIV coupe will top out at 208 mph vert top end is 187 mph. A genIII is going to need headers, ported intake, a cam, and a tune to get te same power as a genIV. The advantage with a genIII is you can do forced induction and have way more power than a genIV.

    I use either the amsoil 5/40 european formula or the amsoil 0/40 signature series diesel. Both oils work very well. I've been using amsoil for years in my 620 rwhp vette, cobra, and work trucks with no issues.

    If its happening during quick lane changes and curves then it's most likely a ground that is moving around. Check the ground connections to see if they're tight or if they have some corrosion. Also check to see if all of the PCM connectors are tight.

    advice anyone?

    It sounds like your fuel pump may not be building up pressure fast enough, or possibly bleeding back on itself. Next time you start it up, try turning the ignition switch on and wait a few seconds before hitting the start button. If she fires up right away after that, it's probably the fuel pump.
