    Rebuild cost on Gen-3 motor

    Try Exotic in Reno Nevada...stellar rep, they will even clean up the oiling galleys, etc. They build for NASCAR, race trucks, etc. and yes they know Vipers... They are actually very reasonable and this is slow season now, so you should get her back soon.

I scrape at slow/ low speeds, no impacts at higher speeds when shocks are compressed. Shock settings will not help with...

    I have 18's on my 97 with Iebach's - too low for me, scrapes everywhere, takes the joy out of driving it. Just got some stock springs, getting lowering caps, and then getting some 19's for the car. This will get the car back up to near stock height and the 19 wheels will fill the wheel well...

    Furious!

    Taking 2 spots seems to activate the hate button on people, no matter how many spaces are open elsewhere. I never take 2 spots, in the GTS or the F-car for that reason Parking far away in a big lot even sets people off, lots of haters out there as of late.

    Did not best the F12, but we are talking tenths......and a little better than the 911.... For so much less $$$... The thing about the C7 is that in a year or so, discounts will abound, and a Z51 with minimal options can roll out the door, tax license, everything, at around $60K. Way more...

    Suggestions on smoothing out ride on a 2008 ACR

    Too late now....but sounds like a "Aero" coupe could of been a better choice..... That said, maybe the suspension from the Aero coupe could work- if different from regular coupe, do not know if it is. If I recall correctly, the Aero coupes have about half the downforce.

    Have a really bad back myself.... Found that how I get in and out the beast, and driving position affects back pain more than actually driving the car. I am very careful getting in, and getting out, I swing legs out As I support myself on the sill, luckily sill does not get that hot...

    Took my SRT track pack 2013 to CMP today...

    You said the dealer threw the Carbotechs on the car, if ANY material from stock pads was on those rotors, this could be your problem....Carbo pads must be used on virgin or complete sanded turned rotors, (not that you should turn rotors) Try sanding rotors and rebedding.

    Why did the Vette do so good on scrawny 245 tires up front ? When this first came out the Vette guys were up in arms, no way to make the C7 handle with those tiny tires... Yes the tire compound was developed specifically in conjunction with all other parameters, much lower unsprung weight...

    Jegs sells this spray on stuff that is supposed to protect the car at the track or cross country.... Never tried it, check it out and see how it works. Just peel off after and you have a clean car- supposedly....
