    Another (sigh) new owner

Turn up to some events, and someone else can take the pics for you haha! Dallas is a wee bit away from me, around 2.5 to 3 hours, but I plan on making it to some events, the wine cruise being one since it falls on one of my days off. I'll be taking a camera, hint hint.

    Another (sigh) new owner

Not sure about the sigh there, unless it's a sigh of pure contentment at your new purchase :) Congratulations and welcome to the club! And of course - pics! We want pics!

    VIPER magazine wants YOU!

Lion cages, now that just ups the cool factor by a factor of 100 - but still probably not worth the admission price ;)

Corsa or Belanger Cat Back ?

Full Belanger here too and I really like the noise :)

    Help me with selling price

Photos are good, but so is video - let them hear it roar, see it in motion, give it some exciting music - even if it's just mostly a slideshow of the stills (with a little panning added for motion) and a few seconds here and there of hearing the engine, it could help get a prospective buyer's...

Viper Sole Survivor Premieres on SPEED March 15

Hmm will be at work both nights, but, those are traditionally quiet nights so I ought to be able to pull it up and watch it (and pause it when something breaks that needs attending to!) - could be a pleasant evening or two at work in that case :)

So the woman was playing around with old pics...

One fun thing to try with a DSLR is getting it to autobracket exposures, and then use free HDRI software to make an HDRI image. Those can be quite catchy, as they capture shadows without bleaching out highlights, and highlights without making the shadows disappear into murk. Really needs a...

So the woman was playing around with old pics...

You can actually do a lot with the very affordable Photoshop Elements - it can handle RAW format, handles layers and layer masks, and all at 1/6th of the price of the full thing. I find it a great compliment to my DSLR, and haven't seen the need to go for the full PS yet. Just a thought :) Other...

Does anyone know this Viper ??

I love graphics on cars - but, I've never seen graphics that I love on a Viper. Can't tell you why, but it always seems to detract from the car and it's lines, rather than improve it. Of course that's just my take, and I won't tell you to get rid of the graphics on yours, any more than you will...

    Sunday Drive

Ah, hibernation season is coming to a close for these magnificent animals! Soon they will be making the most of the pleasant weather, cramming in as much activity as they can before they have to retreat to their nests again at the end of the year.

For myself, have to say nope - but I would be interested in hearing that story from anyone who has!

Purchased 1994 Viper with 4K miles.

I've seen Vipers about 5 or 6 times around here in the last 10 years - and three of those were at once. So not that common to see at all! That said, since joining here I now know there's someone not far from Tyler, and apparently there's a collector very nearby with a substantial number of them...

Purchased 1994 Viper with 4K miles.

Nice looking car! What incredibly low mileage on that - sounds like it might not stay low miles for long as you imply it's getting some use at last (which gets my approval, I'm all for great cars being driven, not just looked at ;) ).

Confused Newbie deciding between 2001 GTS ACR and 1996 GTS ...Man this is tough!!!

Re: Confused Newbie deciding between 2001 GTS ACR and 1996 GTS ...Man this is tough!! Here's another thought for you - you can probably resell the '96 for closer to what you paid than you could the '01. This means should you decide to move to a newer Viper later, you'll be able to do so more...

Owner of Abandoned Dodge Viper Found, Charged With DWI

"Loyal Viper waits in woods when told to 'Sit and Stay!' while drunk owner runs off." I might suggest that guy carries some camo netting in his trunk, he could have just covered up the car and hid out there living in it for a few years til it all blew over. Don't drink and drive :)

Now that's a way to stop lurking, busting out with a car and pics like that! Both (car and pics) are awesome. Loving the work done with lighting and color on those, makes for a lot of drama in those pics, and makes the car look very intense indeed! Which, being a Viper, it is :)

Agreed! I think the bules need to move to their own thread and leave us blues here.

Never enough pics of these cars, so here's one I took as an experiment with HDRI:
