Downshift to brake?
Similar to Pathoguy, I've always downshifted in order to be in the correct gear after the corner. Generally its a better idea to rely on the brakes than it is the engines compression, purely for control under braking. Looking for wheels and tires, 94
I just put new Michelin PS2's on my 94. Great tires! If you want to keep the car looking relatively stock then stay with your original wheels. Otherwise grab some 18/18 or 18/19's off the newer generation vipers. They're all a direct fit for our cars from what I've read. Way more tire options...- vortec04

White smoke on startup 94 RT10 in NZ
Sounds like the head gaskets to me. I literally had the exact same scenario happen to me in my 94. Figured the white smoke was just condensation getting evaporated though, until i saw the little green puddles under the motor.
