Too funny!! Just in case you're for real and didn't actually look at the engine first, stand in front of the car to the driver's side of the crosshairs reach in through the upper opening and grab the lever and pull then the hood will lift about 3" pull the lever you see in the middle while lifting up gently until it stops then walk back to the driver's side of the car's aft corner and lift until the hood is up against it's hinge stops..
More importantly is the closing procedure to avoid damage; when engaging the front of the hood to its latches press down aft of the NACA duct or you'll crack the thing..
