I don't think I can miss any more events if I tried. Eyal and myself will be at Viper Days at Mid-America. Have fun.

I'm there! Hopefully, my car will be back from Marietta Dodge. I have a busted charcoal canister :( Even worse news for GA VCA... JD Farmer is moving to Global BMW effective immediately!

No, it's not a joke. I saw JD at the track day this weekend at Road Atlanta. He gave me the sad news :(

But, on the bright side, it should be a better move for him financially. He is still going to be active with the Viper community, and MIGHT entertain the idea of doing work on the side.

I'm going to be there, and it looks like my car is too (I was going to go anyhow). Should be getting it back from Marietta Dodge tomorrow. Turns out that the test port for the evap system was broken. They are charging me $200 for diagnosing the problem, taking the bumper off, and plugging one vacuum hose (they are replacing the test port, which is just a plastic T). The whole evap system assembly is around $400. YIKES!

Sigh, I miss JD already. However, JD has assured me that the two Viper Techs at Marietta are top notch.

JUST IN CASE, anyone else use someone locally that they trust?

Mike Robbins' Ringgold dodge will take care of you. He will send a flat bed to pick your car up. They are the place to be. JD has been a friend to the club & we will continue to make him an honorary member of the GA VCA for his oustanding commitment to the club. When we first started haveing club meetings , I invited every dealer & viper tech for a freebie & the only tech that showed was JD. JD we wish you well & maybe with the new $$ you are makeing we can get you your own snake. & the BMW's should keep you in the $$!
Mike Robbins of Ringold Dodge drives 180 miles to attend our monthly meetings. They deserve your business.

Mike is definitely the option to use if you have time... he delivered my car, changed the clutch, and took care of some paintwork I needed.

Unfortunately, now that the Viper is my daily driver, I need someone close for those "quick" repairs :)
