Nice! How much are they?
Probably about $900-950 a wheel... Out of my price range for now...Il probably roll stock forever.. :-(
I have set of Gen4 6 spokes on my 96 and really like the look.
i just got a set of gen4 razors and pzero's to put on my gen2. As soon as it is not below freezing I will put them on and get a pic to post.
Just looking at them next to the car I think they will look good.
Got them on today. Very pleased!
Agreed ! Those look great on the car !
What gen wheels are those?
Gen 4 razors.
I couldn't make up my mind on wheels so i had the factory ones chromed. Then I found a set and they are like $5,000 lol.
$5000 for Factory or aftermarket you like?
i have pix of my 96 gts wearing the acr bbs wheels. but, i dont know how to post pix. can i email them to someone to post here?
You can email them to me
I'll post them tonight when I get home
If you are looking for the best wheels to hide a $hitty set of stock brakes...^^^those are the best ones.
That is an interesting concept when you put it that way. It made me think. When (what approximate year) did brake components become automotive jewelry? It has to be a combination of availability of open wheel designs, and availability of aftermarket brake rotors and calipers. Pretty soon folks were color coordinating their calipers and car body colors, just like they were doing with their toenails and fingernails. I really expect the next trend in automotive dress up will be tattoo-type line drawings.
Your juxtapositions may have merit.
There's only one Viper that I have ever laid eyes on that I thought didn't need tweaking of some sort: The 2016 ACR.
the manufacturers are playing with color for tires. similar to the cycling world.
These are my Current BBS Wheels. 18" front and rear
Also have Pruner CCW Classic race wheels (bolt configuration is different for the race wheels)
18 inch front and rear
The BBS wheels are actually 2lbs per wheel heavier than the CCW's!
I like that look..
Looks pretty darned close to replicating the appearance of the LeMans Oreca GTS-R. Very nice !
Thank's Guys, Its rather fun Driving around England in this beast People get their mobile phones out, take pictures etc.......Can't think why?
I have recently purchased the centre hood louvers, Side exit exhaust system and a pair of fibreglass side sills and front canards.
Just don't seem to be able to stop modding! Its an addiction!
Here's a better pic of the CCW Classic Race spec wheels
and one of the BBS Wheels
Also been playing with some stick on tire decals
Aftermarket of course.
18x10 & 19x13 Forgeline ZX3P
(coilovers are going on soon)
I have a set of those Razor wheels for sale with tires. But if you want the best looking rim/tire combo, CCWs:
Lots of Nice Pics Guys! i got my 5 spokes from Fatboy, i liked the way they look & they also updated the Gen. II & are Soooooo Easy to clean (i've never been a big fan of Chrome wheels on the Viper or the wheels that have all the lil' screws in them, waaaay to much Wipeing to clean them). & for the Price you can't beat them, but if you want to spend 4-5k sure you can find something Nicer! jmo!
Chrome HRE 545R 19x10 and 20x13 eibach springs with lowering caps
Sorry to revive an old thread. But wow, those look fantastic.
