blower motor

Help, I need the heater blower cage but my dealer says I have to buy the cage and motor as a unit and the list price is around six hundred bucks. Does this sound like they are trying to hose me or what?

It's an 02 final edition and they tell me the blower is specific to that one year. thanks I will give him a call.
