I have a Water/**** kit on order with Sean Roe and can't wait to get it. I have shopped every auto parts store in town and can not find a good wiper fluid with Methanol. I searched the web with no luck and thought I would check out Snow Performance's web site. BINGO...They have a new product called "Boost Juice". This is 49% methanol and 51% water. It is a little pricey I think but I ordered it so I don't have to search anymore. They sell a 6 Gallon case for $39.99. Pour it in and off you go! Now, what will get here first, the fluid or my water/**** kit? Sean????

Later...

Call your local race fuel supplier or you can find one on the web (do a search on methanol). When I first started using methanol, I ordered a 5 gallon container from an online suplier. It cost about $5/gallon (factoring in hazmat and shipping charges). After I found how effective it was, I contacted a local fuel supplier and purchased a 55 gallon drum (approx. $1.50gallon). I'm not sure why this board insists on using washer fluid when you can get fuel quality methanol fairly easily.

Methanol=Wood alcohol
Don't mess around with anything else. Go to any large hardware store and buy wood alcohol. Cheeper than the so called boost juice junk.

Rich are you installing the W/M kit yourself? I had to tweak the program settings to get the A/F dialed in. The VEC2 software and Sean's expert guidence is all that's needed.

Yes I am with the help of a friend. I sent sean my current VEC2 card and he said he could "tweak" it for the water ****. I am also going from 5lb. to 6.5 lb. of boost at the same time.

Don't know...Still waiting for Sean Roe to ship everything. About 3 weeks and counting. I am hoping to get it soon so I can install before our VCA Zone meeting at the end of July. I'll let you know soon I hope!

Call your local GoKart Racing shop. They run pure alcohol in Briggs racing motor. Usually around $20-25.00 for 5 gallons.
The best way to get it out of a 5 gal can is with a self starting syphon hose. It has a one way valve in the bottom and a clear hose. Just drop it in the can and shake it up and down until it fills. Northern Tool
Take care,
Alan

FYI...Snow Performance just called me and said they are having trouble getting in and shipping the Boost Juice. My order has been cancelled. I will have to find an alternate/better solution. I think I will order straight Methanol and mix my own.
