center console fix

having experienced a cracked console I'm about to fit a new one this weekend, apprantly a MDF spacer underneath which takes up the slack is the fix, anyone know what thickness material is required ?

I think I just put a piece of wood under mine to firm it up. I don't recall the size.

I got the internal shape running around the OE supports on PC, ready to zip a few out on the CNC

Just had mine replaced by dealer under warranty. If you come up with a good idea please post.
