I am looking for some sugggestions for replacement speakers & amps for the stock audio system. I do not want to install and custom enclosures for bass. Has anyone found 6.5" speakers that have decent low end sound? What component set did you use up front? Single or dual amps?

Thanks

How do they sound?
The last aftermarket system I had was 12 years ago - 3 12" JL Audio Woofers, 1200 Watt Amp. Had decent low end :)

I've been out of the audio scene for a while now, and don't know if ANY 6.5" will provide low end bass to keep the sound clean.

I have a 8" sub at the passanger wheel well. The 6.5's are no good for bass. Mine sounds strong, very nice. The JBL powers front door speakers, tweeters and sub. The original Alpine powers the center console speakers.

I'm sure there are better systems out there, I just had no reason to go more nuts, this was enough boom and noise.
