Gen 1 wheels cast or forged?

Anyonw know if the Gen 1 three spoke wheels are cast or forged?

Cast, but I don't think they have the same issues as the star wheels. I think the hub is beefier on the 3 spokes. I have seen several pictures of GenII cars with GenI wheels as track beaters. One of the track rats will know for sure.

I can attest to no problems with the three spoke wheels after track, autocross, and street driving with street, DOT legal, and slick tires.
