Gen 2 Subwoofer Question

New RT/10 Owner here. 1999 RT/10, want to replace subwoofer in the middle of the seats. I believe it is a 6.5" speaker. Can someone please tell me about how deep that enclosure is, so that I can order the right speaker depth ?

When I replaced my sub-woofer, I could not fine a speaker that would fit, too deep and would interfere with the security system. I used a spacer (believe it is 1/2"). Looks factory. I would take a picture but the viper is on a lift with another car below. I used a Memphis brand, love the sound.
