Viper GTS-R returns to the American Le Mans Series at Mid-Ohio on ABC and ESPN3.

The wait is finally over. The 2013 SRT Viper GTS-R will be in action with the American Le Mans Series this weekend at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. Fans can tune in to both qualifying and the historic race-day action.
Qualifying is set for Friday, August 3, and will air live on ESPN3.com beginning at 12:15 p.m. EDT. Coverage of the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Challenge will air on ABC beginning at 2:00 p.m. EDT on Saturday, August 4.
Tommy Kendall, Dominik Farnbacher, Marc Goossens, and Kuno Wittmer, will take to the track in the pair of SRT Viper GTS-R race cars in the GT class. The 2013 SRT Viper GTS-R race cars are fielded by Riley Technologies with the support of SRT Motorsports.
The SRT Viper GTS-R will compete in a partial ALMS schedule this season before embarking on a full-time campaign with the series in 2013.
