Looking to install rear defuser for my 02 GTS. Is Autoform defuser the only product out there? if someone already has Autoform defuser would you mind posting pics and your feedback? BY chance is anybody selling their defuser?

I thought Roe Racing also sold a rear diffuser...I checked and here is the link to a two-fin diffuser for Gen I/II($418):

http://www.roeracing.com/productcart/pc/2-Blade-Rear-Air-Difuser-92-02-Viper-p752.htm

Here is the 4-blade difuser which I think looks much better than the 2-blade ($938). My only issue is that it is a pretty large and prominent piece to be adding to the rear of the car and protrudes out the rear of the car past the bumper by couple of inches. Think it would look much better if it was recessed or at least flush with the rear bumper:

Here is the Roe Racing difuser for Gen III/IV roadsters...totally different design, more streamlined looking and looks more to be part of the car than a total bolt-on look. If Roe were to redesign their Gen I/II more along the lines of the later version, would be far more appealing in my opinion.

By the way, the same Gen I/II diffuser is offered by Parts Rack:

Now that I went to the Autoform site, this is the same diffuser...so Parts Rack and Roe Racing (Looks like) are selling the Autoform difuser.

Just found a really nice one, offered by DC Performance. It is smaller and looks more like it came with the car, shaped to curve like the bottom of the bumper. Mounts in a similar manner to the Autoform one, using existing bumper bolts:

Unfortunately, Dan had to close his business after ten years. I did send him an email to see whether the difuser he was offering is still available and/or whether it was manufactured by someone else.

yep, looked at them too. see the autoform defuser looks like spring board at the pool, not sure about a clean look. just looks like a foreign part that was slapped on

Explaining Viper things to you
I made my own. I have a full writeup on it at another Viper forum. It's narrower than the big AF, but wider than the little one. I therefore call it a medium. It it very effective at reducing material on the rear bumper cover, which means it's reducing quite a bit of drag; the purpose of a diffuser.

If you are actually looking for maximum performance as opposed to poser parts, you will need to extend the flat plane of panel beyond the rear bumper cover. The stick on blades and ones like the DC model, although they "look" good, are not nearly as effective as a full diffuser.

Not being funny Dave, but have you ever drove fast enough to feel them work?

Not sure that a rear diffuser is an aero mod that you would "feel working." It's purpose is to reduce drag at the rear of the car, which one could surmise would increase top speed given equivalent hp and other conditions.

So, to answer your question... I'll say no, I have not felt them work. But the evidence suggests they are.
