On Saturday April 27th, TWENTY Illinois VCA members will have the chance to find out how much horsepower and torque their cars are putting on the pavement. This year we are limited to a MAXIMUM of 20 cars. So please let Bill Sampognaro know ASAP if you are going to attend (708-481-9560). Once we hit 20 cars, we’ll start a waiting list.
Performance Tech Center is located in Elk Grove Village IL. The first car goes on the dyno at 9:30 a.m. Cost is $60.00 per run payable directly to Performance Tech Center ($65 if we have less than 6 cars) For an extra $25.00 you can have an air/fuel ratio check. Once your car is up on the dyno they actually will do two 4th gear pulls up to the 6100 rpm redline or a lower rpm by request. A color printout graphing both horsepower and torque will be yours to keep.
Performance Tech Center is located at 55 Gaylord, Elk Grove Village IL (847-228-7256) From Chicago take the Northwest toll way (I-90 west) and exit at Arlington Heights Road. Turn left(south) Take Arlington Heights road to Higgins Road(RT 72) Turn left (east) on Higgins road. Go approximately 4 blocks to Gaylord. Turn left and Performance Tech is about a half a block down the street on the right side. If you are coming From I-290, exit Higgins road east. Go approximately 3 miles to Gaylord. (4 blocks east of Arlington Heights road). Turn left and the shop is half a block down on the right side.
