Need some RT 10 help here!

Sorry, this may seem obvious, but I am a new owner and former owner could not locate owners manual yet, is out of town and I am unsure how to remove hardtop. I did a search, but nothing came up. Please give the newbie some love here!!thanks, John

Congrats on your new ride. I am in the same boat. I went to look at a prospective car today and couldn't for the life of me get the roof off. I know this doesn't help but misery loves company.

What year? As Jon B states so eloquently, "The year matters."

Gen I (1992 - 1996) screw in place to the sport cap and use the standard front mounts.

Gen II (1997 +) snap in place just like the soft top. Look along the back for a tab on each side. Depress the tab to release it. Look at the soft top for what the release tab looks like. The front again rotates to unlock the cam lock (same as Gen I).

I think the above is correct. There are also several aftermarket tops which may be different.

Owner's manual may be in a pocket on the back of the seats...

Thanks for the help. Got it! Now for a drive. I do like the hardtop but it will not be on much is my guess as I got the rt10 for the open cockpit. Nice cozy (and warm!!) cabin with top off sounds just right.
