Anyone have any real info on the current plans for next gen coupe? I realize that Dodge may not know or could change the time frame.

Thanks,
Steve

The line from Dodge, "if you want a GTS, then buy the 2002 because there are no plans to build one in the future", as said by Mr Jim Julow himself. Now keep in mind that the Corporation or it's employees are "not allowed to discuss future products", as said by ALL DC employees over the last 10 years when being asked about future Viper information. What does this mean? At THIS point there are no announced plans to build a Coupe. Could that change? Yes, but even so, I wouldn't expect to see one until 2004-2005, and then go into production around 2006-2007, if at all.

Just my opinion of course...but I feel that they either
HAVE TO MAKE A COUPE, or in the alternative make a convertable
with drop- dead killer looks (such as Ferrari 360 Spider).
If they don't, I question whether the numbers can
support the product lines' continued existence???????????????????

Wayne, you may have a point (the 360 spider is awesome) but aren't all the 2003 SRT-10s already sold out?(Even before production has started.) If it was such a flop why are people going on waiting lists?

Remember this is year One..a new Generation..
Will the demand hold or will it be dealers selling at
just over invoice to move the metal?
Maybe a Pinafarina design might spice up the looks?

Didn't Pinafarina pen the Allante for Cadilac. There was a real winner. Keep the styling in house. They understand Americans taste and have a good handle on what could be a future trend.
