Why not have a tuner review forum similar to the new records area only rating tuners and parts suppliers. It could have a positive / negative feed back area with a set space for comments and a place for a "tuner response" to the comment as well. Maybe something like this would help to curtail the rip off artists and reward the great parts suppliers and tuners and become of great value to new viper owners who may not have the proper background to know who to deal with and who not to.

comments and input?

This has been discussed many times, but no one has come up with a plan that works. How does the follow-up to make sure that the statements are authentic? The theory is something that has been needed for a long time, but no one has come up with a method that would work and be fair for both sides.

Steve,

Perhaps it could be an extra 2 columns on the parts supplier page. It could have # of positive feed backs and # of negative feedbacks. Then if a person wanted to see what the comments were they could click on the # of feedbacks and that would link to a list that has all the feed backs in it. There woould be a response to feedback area for the vendor to tell his side of the story and then a column for dispute resolution, so that we can all see if the problem was resolved.

Ebay has a mechanism to rate buyers and sellers. This is not brain surgery so why not do it?

Like ebay it easy to get fake good responses too. This very hard for the board to monitor without putting them in a awkward situation and at risk of lawsuits. Maybe should have a supplier question section where people can only respond by emailing or sending a private email to the person asking about the supplier. Then each person is personally responsible for their own opinion.

Part of what I will be programming shortly is a vender feedback system which will be integrated into the next revision of the MarketPlace.

I am working on another project now, but once it's complete the MarketPlace goes under the knife.
