New stock ACR record at Willow Springs

At Viperdays at Willow Springs yesterday my friend Terry Rossi took out the ACR I was driving for a few laps. This car is 100% stock and totally un-sorted. It was at the factory ride height, with old rear tires in 95 degree heat, just a compression and rebound shock adjustment.

As I understand it Millan with a factory backed team turned a 1:29.6 at WSIR. Terry just jumping into the car turned a 1:29.2. He said with some seat time, in a sorted out car with new tires he could easily turn 1:27s, probably lower and I believe him, I was in the 1:30 range

I wish they were allowing passengers, oh well next time.

Ron, great to see the ACR in action, Terry told me he did that driving only two laps. Millen's ran with the car set up by dodge and probably on a day 10-20 degrees cooler. Hope to see Terry again in the fall back in that ACR.

Art, Terry took me out in my car for a couple of laps to show me his lines and to experiment shift points with my 3:55's. He is crazy fast, and super smooth. Get him to take you out next time.

Thanks for the suggestion Mike. No more letting Scott borrow your car, he beat me by 1 second otherwise I would have finished at the top of my class! It was great seeing you this weekend.
