Has anyone ever tried to rig a mustang/camaro etc. nitrous system to work on a Viper? I noticed that the systems for mustangs etc. are MUCH cheaper than any system I've found for Vipers. What can be so much different about a Viper nitrous system as compared to a Mustang's?? Is it just the "Viper" name?

Any info is appreciated.

Tim,

There are lots of differences in the kit i sell from a mustang kit. Get the ingredient list of a mustang kit and start comparing parts.

1. Larger(pro-shot) Solenoids
2. Computerized fuel enrichment
3. Computerized WOT switch, not just a button or microswitch
4. Factory appearing wiring harness
5. Soft Plume Fogger Nozzles
6. 16' lines
7. 15 lb nitrous bottle with liquid filled gauge!
8. Bottle heater
9. Bottle blanket
10. 200 rear wheel horsepower and 230 rear wheel torque(all nos kits are advertised at flywheel hp)
11. Not to mention all of the hardware, lines, fittings,DOT bottle for the propane injection.

Take a look through your JEGS catalogue and if you can piece a kit together with all the same ingredients for less i will buy them from you.

thanks

tom

I hhave seen these kits listed for as low as $700 (NX wet) and $950 (NOS dry kit). That's not soo bad when you consider how much more tuners are charging for Engine upgrades.... not that's crazy.
