Paxton supercharger on 2000 RT/10?

Why does the Paxton supercharger only install on a GTS? I thought these cars were indentical from the firewall forward. I would like to install one of these on my 2000 RT/10.

I have a Paxton supercharger on my 2002 RT/10 and it works great!
