question on gen1 painted dash?

when you are painting these dashes are you guys striping the old paint off? with like bumper striper of something?

PM Mitch, his wife does awesome work and just painted a buddy's Gen 1 dash red. Looks really hot.

This should give you a feel of what Lethal and Snkebit are talking about. It gives the car an incredible new feel and look. Comments never stop, everyone loves it over the old grey fuzzy dash!

it is not a difficult job to do yourself. I have recently redone mine and it turned out very nice. I used Easy Off oven cleaner to remove the original dash finish. Only word of caution is to wear gloves, that stuff is very ******* your hands!
