This \"Car Capsule\" storage bubble thing is great!
For those of you not familiar with the "Car Capsule", it is a clear inflatable bubble that protects your car of choice. You unfold it (weighs about 25 pounds) drive on to the heavy duty vinyl floormat, pull the clear vinyl over the car carefully, zip it shut, and plug it in. Takes about three minutes to inflate. There it sits, protected from my kids and door dings, whatever!
Where I live in rural Iowa, we have a lot of mice, and my eight year old feeds the dogs in the heated garage (which mice seem to like when it's 20 below). Mice like the food and heat. obviously.
I contemplated adding a fourth garage space, but the expense will be astronomical. A garage lift is possible, but I will lose the garage door motor which is nice. Also, although there is room for another Viper underneath it (or lawnmower, etc) it will still be 5k and an adjustment to get used to. I bought the bubble for around $350 and I hooked up my battery tender too. Call 1-800-PDK-2822. I think it is a great, inexpensive way to store.
Sincerely,
Jim Wallace
