you say OMG, lol. every car i have purchased never has this happen to me. why? because i did my due diligence , knew what to look for , knew a fair price and ALWAYS TALKED TO WHO WAS IN CHARGE OF THE DEALERSHIP, DAH! Basic :nono:

When the car hauler picked the car up from the dealership, he documented all the problems with the car prior to loading it up...then I'm sure Sean O'Buttcrack signed off on it knowing it was gonna catch up to him and didn't return calls for a week. This was a classic FAIL on the part of the dealership, yet you blame it on the OP. WANTED, why don't you spend 10 seconds of "due diligence" prior to posting your stupid comments to at least check for grammar.

Can you cut the bull$hit for a second and just admit that you popped into the thread swinging on dealership sack and screaming "defamation" before you even considered the OP's legitimate claim? Yes, you're entitled to your opinion...but be prepared to be called out on your $hit when you act like a Fuqstik.

So super awesome car. Love the baby on the engine. Make sure that you enjoy that car with the kiddo. Its gorgeous. I bought my first viper 2 weeks ago. My daughters are 10 and 11 and we have had a ball in it. You only get 1 chance at life. Don't let those little things ruin the fun for you.

Thank you guys.

Broomrider, I would like to hold on to this Viper. I want to be able to show the kids when they get older how much fun we had with it and the memories we shared. So far we are having a blast. Today we took it out to a local cars and coffee meet. My brother was in his Challenger, cousin in his 03 Cobra and my wife took the kids in the SUV. The Viper got a lot of complements.

Free2go, so far I absolutely love it. I do miss my Gen 2 GTS and I really believe its the reason I am back in a Viper. Guys don't hate me for this but I still like the GEN 2 GTS body over my GEN 5. But in regards to driving enjoyment, the GEN 5 wins me. I took a lot of time researching and test driving other cars on the market but I always found myself coming back to the Viper. There wasn't anything that captured my interest like it did. I think the only thing the car needs in regards to appearance is a nice front lip.

Some pics from today

No hate. I was driving mine last night and have to say that I was thinking about how nice it would be to have all the modern crap the Gen5 has. I could get one if I sold my Gen2, but I'm gonna hold out and have both.

That would be awesome to have both in your garage!

Before buying the Gen 5 I actually reached out to the gentleman who bought my Gen 2 and offered to buy it back, he of course refused lol haha.

Someone took this when I wasn't looking haha

So I purchased that 99 ACR with 805 miles on it and sold it with around 1200 miles.

I plan on driving this Viper and enjoy it. I don't plan on driving it in rain or snow but I won't be worried in regards to putting miles on her this time around :) especially considering my last car, the Supra, which only ran on VP Import at $20 a gallon. It did almost 1400hp but wasn't street friendly and thus I didn't drive it much. So I'm really looking forward to enjoying this Viper. That was my fourth Supra but I'm done with that race ga$ life. That's what is most appealing about the Viper to me, good power on good ol 93oct.

The Gen V's are meant to be driven - I put 8000 miles on my 2013 in a year and in 7 months I've put 2800 on my 2015.

Only place I won't take mine is into DC and parked.

That's great! I love to hear that stuff. My husband and I enjoy our 1969 superbee with our kids. We intend on keeping all of our cars for them.

After reading this thread I threw up a little in my mouth. My wife is an Attorney so all the legal crap just made me cringe a little. And the whole doing your due diligence upon purchasing a car made me laugh somewhat. I for one have no time to fly here or there to go over a car with a fine tooth comb. I am expecting the gentleman on the other end to be upfront about the car. Has **** blown up in my fuc,.n face? Yeah but you live and learn.
Glad everything ended well as far as the car is concerned. The rest of the crap looks like some long standing dick measuring fight.

I did. I'm a little nervous as to what's going to be under the hood though haha. Some crazy rumors going around.

Went by the dealership today. Just a heads up, that third brake light costs $525 to replace! Glad it was covered by the dealership. I touched up the paint chips myself so all that's left is a nice two step paint correction.

I would have had that car packed up, back to the dealership in a flash, and told them to refund your money.

Full paint correction has been completed. Took three days and almost 36 hours.

Some before and after shots. Holograms and swirl marks everywhere.

Wow. Beautiful.

I don't have any experience (yet) with 100k cars and paint jobs, so they would have gotten me too. The 1 of 1 program is made for someone like me though, so hopefully that means I avoid all the dealer B.S.

But it looks very, very good now.

Today I noticed some bubbling in the paint. Car has less than 100 miles on it. I'm waiting to hear back from Prefix.

Paint fix looks great. I've been thinking about investing in one of the buffers. Is the bubbling from heat coming off the exhst? I hate you are having issues. I put
450 mi on mine today.

Prefix are blaming it on the exhaust however why isn't it on the other side as well? Couldn't be the exhaust is touching that panel.

I would guess that it's possible. You could do two things, take it for a spin and get it up to temp and then see if that side is hotter, or you could remove the panels
and see if the exhaust is touching more on that side. Of course take into consideration that I am not an expert and a woman. Ha! If it is closer on that side that could explain why it scoring that. You would think that it wouldn't be an isolated issue.

Oh goodness free. Don't get me started on the difference of men and women. I promise you at 39 yrs old I have figured out that those two things"being an expert and a woman" can be totally one in the same or complete opposites "depending on the subject at hand". That being said I have had to work on stuff mechanical
Most of my life. I do have an understanding of mechanical more than most women. I do not presume to know all that there is mechanical but when
I get in a jam where I don't that's what eyelashes are for.:2tu: and help comes. So you see there are some things I'm capable of as a chick that a guy just can't do.:headbang:
