With Ken K gone, does the AZ Viper club still have a liason with Luke AFB (Viper vs Viper headquarters)?

No Viper vs Viper in 2009
Hello all,
A Viper vs Viper event for 2009? There were full intentions for this event to happen in 2009. In large part to major efforts by Tony Estes, it has been a fantastic event for the spectators, the Viper Club of America members and to honor those who serve our country in the military.
It was tremendous to watch people rush the fence to watch the F-16 on the far runway line up against the latest and greatest Viper on the closer runway. We also got some advance looks at the latest and greatest in action.
Unfortunately, one of those 2 runways is under major reconstruction and will not be complete by the time of the event which creates an situation without a solution. We are looking forward to the next round to continue the tradition.
The VCA desires to have a major event in the West this spring so the Mopars at the Strip weekend, March 20-22 is planned. There will be the full range of driving events to social times. Hope you will be able to attend.
