Will an 01 dash fit a 96?

Looking at picking up an 01 for my 96 GTS....will it fit? Mine has a crack in it

I don't think it will. I say this because I was told a 1996 dash...and ONLY a 1996 dash...would have been a direct replacement for my 1993. That leads me to believe that it won't. Jon B or Chuck Tator could give you a definitive answer.

Anything will fit! It just depends on how much work you want to do.

Maybe i should just fiberglass overlay the entire dash and paint it black?

01 dash has power mirrors so you will have an extra hole......

I think a 96 or a 97 dash should work for you.

Don't forget the airbag cutoff switch and button.

My '97 has a newer dash with the pebble finish. I much prefer it over the original (which is wrapped in plastic and tucked safely away in a closet).

I think a 96 or a 97 dash should work for you.

For a straight swap, this is correct
