    Thanks for the input and the popsicle sticks are a great idea.....Roe told me today the oil of choice is 5W-50 Castrol full synthetic and seems to be verified here on the forum....Are you using 15W-50?

    Anybody watch the show? I thought the Viper did great and having both of these cars, I was really surprised how the Viper pulled the Z up til 5th gear.......Wouldn't the gear change in the 2010 be the answer to overcome the Z in that respect? Does anybody besides me think Paul Tracey is a dork?

    Driving fast

    I live not far from some wonderful country roads (the farmers hate me)and I have 3-4 spots where I can run up to 155-160 mph depending on conditions......I know that it is dangerous, I know it is wrong but there is no use in having these cars (IMHO) if you can't feel the rush occasionly....:drive:

    I have an 08 stock viper and a 2010 stock ZR1 and the viper can not run with the ZR1, especially up top.......Gonna add the pulleys, etc. soon to th ZR1......

    Eradispeed rotors - cracks after 300 miles????

    I have had many sets of the cross drilled & slotted Baer 2 pc. Eradispeed rotors on my vipers & vettes and have never had a problem.....I am strictly heavy street and will continue to buy and recommend them for non-racers.....

    I live in Valdosta, Ga. and my 08 has developed a loud "tick" that comes and goes....Can anyone sugeest a good viper tech in the Jax, Daytona, Orlando, Gainsville, Ocala, Tallahassee or Tampa area? Thank you for your time......

    K&N HP-2010 Oil Filter & Lifter Question

    Has anyone used the K&N HP-2010 oil filter on their 2008? Their tech dept. states it was only tested on an 09 and can not recommend it for the 2008.....Aren't they the same? Also has anyone with an 08 had a lifter problem?..Thanks for your time....
