    We were making 14 cars per day which equals about 3500 per year. Now we are at 12 which is about 3000. Maybe, with a couple extra down weeks, we make 2000 to 2500 per year. ALL of them are built with pride and shipped as perfect as we can get them. There are no "inspectors" at CAAP...

    Hello, Where do you guys get your information from? It sure wasn't from anyone at the plant. The cam sprocket might come loose and if it does it takes out the cam sensor and the engine will stop. But, if one bolt comes out and free falls, the engine will also stop. This problem did not show...

    Dead Battery...how do I get in?

    The key under the mirror works. Some of the early cars had tight cables and it did require some amount of force to open the door. But now the system works perfectly. The plant has been charging most batterys b4 they are shipped so this should help on dead or almost dead batteries.

    Heat in driver side footwell

    Yes,with the top down heat gets sucked into the car. Unfortunately it will flow to the low pressure area which would be the footwells. There should be some shiny insulation under the carpet which blocks the heat from the engine and the exhaust. The a/c temp is usually only 20 or so degrees...
