    battery drain?????

    I don't know what is going on, but if I don't drive my viper for more than a week the battery drains dead. This season I put in a brand new battery (optima)and it keeps doing it. does the secruity system drain it that much? my red security light has never worked since I bought the car two hrs...

    temperature guage

    my temp guage pegs out when I start my viper and never comes down. when I shut the car off, the guage goes back to zero. I noticed it after doing a burn out. the engine doesn't over heat and the idiot light never comes on. what could have happened, and how should I fix it?
