It's unfortunate that people think these cars will have any increased value. Its a neat color, but Vipers have always had a certain "Unique" model since year one.
Love the color though, its pretty cool in Matte finish.
How much cash are you looking for in addition? I have a 2006 with 5 spokes, 3600 miles and I live close to ya.
PM Me back with details and contact info.
Thanks for the response FinalGTS.
The engine was built by Port Pros in Austin and tuned by DC Performance. It was a long distance tune based on the Dyno sheet we provided. I will be calling Chris to talk with him about the issue. DC Performance has been outstanding to deal with so far and I...
Is there a setting in the PCM that would adjust the fuel/air map right off idle.. If this was a carbed car I would think they jets were just a touch small.
Ill check that in the morning. I looked into this a bit more today getting under the hood and could re-create the problem at the linkage. What I noticed was that the issue is actually a little different the described.
If I just barely (I mean as lightly as possible) turn the linkage I can...
Guys, I am hopeful someone may have some insight into a nagging issue I'm having with a 522" stroker motor.
The car has a fairly aggressive cam, stryker heads, and a DC Performance tune for the 522 motor. Since the motor was built and with two tunes/computers there is one issue that I can not...
Does anyone have part number or suggestion for a higher CCA battery in a 06 Coupe. With the higher compression of my N/A build the factory battery if is has sat or the starter is hot is struggling to turn the engine over.
Thanks in advance,
Kevin
Why not tune the factory PCM and get rid pf the VEC-3? You are not running that wild an engine.
I am using a factory comp with a tune from DC Performance on a 522 N/A motor and its runs great
The issue you have with the misfire is most likely the cam you have. Rough idle = Misfire trip..
Its the same. John B. Check with John at partsrack also. He has a large supply of body parts with his recent acquisition. Not sure he has the front end, but its where I would start.
547/565 with a conservative cam. It's only been dynod with the initial tune DC Performace provided. I have provided them the dyno sheet and will be working with them to tweak this some. There are a few spots where the fuel and possibly timing need to be tweaked.
I just completed a build on a 522 CID viper and am not happy with the current exhaust note (volume).
I initially went with a set of B&B Headers and full 3" Exhaust with crossovers. The sound was good, but the heat in the side seals literally started to cook the paint and the fit was quite bad...
I am planning to install Vortex Cones along with High Flow RT cats and a 3" Corsa Track exhaust system. I am of the opinion they should be installed after the RT cats, but before the Corsa Exhaust. Is this correct? I don't think you can put them after the mufflers without impacting the fit...
Let us know what you find Kai.
One odd thing to me though. I agree 100% the throttle plate has moved, but did you all notice the area that appears to have been under the rectangular metal tab does not have a screw hole? Does anyone have a picture of the inside and outside of the throttle...
Re: Need some Photoshop lovin\'
I loved it. I was not in a place to repost. I now want to know if SSR can make those wheels for the Viper. The sizes are right, just need the lug pattern.
Need some Photoshop lovin\'
I would like to see the following wheel on a Grey 2006 Coupe. Anyone that can work the magic I would appreciate it.
