I think it will. That is my next step anyways. I also put some of the closed cell foam deadener they make on backside of some interior panels and that seemed to make a difference with creeking noises they made, just need to do a little more. Overall it's definately much improved.
Week-end project thought I might share some pics. Has made a big difference in drive train noise. Not as much as I had hoped for in road noise. I now hear some little squeeks/rattles I have to find that I could not hear before. I hope to see a reduction in heat but have not been on long...
Tapered. Both look good in front view but I don't like the way the staight go thru the hood vents. They always look disconnected and curved to me from the side and rear 3/4 views on 08 hoods.
Doesn't sound correct to me either. Is it possible you were pulling at the top of 3rd when he had already shifted to into bottom of 4th? If this was the case I would think he would get back what you pulled, and then some, after you went to 4th.
It's difficult to judge a gear being a "good" or "bad" track gear because tracks can be so different. A gear that works great at one track may be poor at another.
