    I think it will. That is my next step anyways. I also put some of the closed cell foam deadener they make on backside of some interior panels and that seemed to make a difference with creeking noises they made, just need to do a little more. Overall it's definately much improved.

    Tapered. Both look good in front view but I don't like the way the staight go thru the hood vents. They always look disconnected and curved to me from the side and rear 3/4 views on 08 hoods.

    Doesn't sound correct to me either. Is it possible you were pulling at the top of 3rd when he had already shifted to into bottom of 4th? If this was the case I would think he would get back what you pulled, and then some, after you went to 4th.

    It's difficult to judge a gear being a "good" or "bad" track gear because tracks can be so different. A gear that works great at one track may be poor at another.

    theoretical top speed in 6th (.5), redline 6250 rpm, 3.73 gears is 271mph. Swithing to a shorter 6th for 210 max would be sweet.

    I put 3.33 Quaiffe in my 08 and have been happy. Keep in mind the redline change with gen. III and gen. IV, 6000 rpm vs 6250rpm. If you add the mopar controller to Gen IV 6500rpm. Interesting thing is that a Gen. III with stock 3.07 has the same redline points as a Gen. IV with mopar...
