I know the issue affects mainly Honda vehicles beginning around 2001, but has anyone researched whether the ammonium nitrate-charged bags made it into the Gen II's? Would rather avoid shrapnel severing my carotid artery if you know what I mean.:crazy2:

I don't have the desire to sift through the endless email drama on VCA issues/restructuring/rebirth whatnot. So in a few sentences, what is South Florida supporting? Are we being asked to choose between VCA 2.0 and VOA? :dunno:
No affiliation, just found it interesting how someone could mothball this car and drive the Corolla instead.

Anyone experienced this Labor Day weekend event at Coronado Springs Resort (Lake Buena Vista)? Thinking of going this year and would appreciate feedback.
So I try out my new $15 Bluetooth-enabled scanner http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008U1MOM8/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and checked the range of my throttle position sensor (TPS). It read out from 15% to 75% (floored pedal). Are these typical values for TPS range?
BTW--This is a...
Finally done with the heavy lifting on this project with some tweaking to come as the springs settle in. :DFender arch heights are nominal 26 inches front and 28 rear sitting on 19 inch wheels/Invo's at all corners. Pretty low I would say but am able to cross the street gutter to my driveway...
OK I deserved it I guess since I don't check under the hood much between annual oil services. Was heading out to the alignment shop when I lost most of the clutch pedal. Got back home and had a flatbed take it to my shop. R&R'd the clutch slave and weeping tail piece seal and was back in...
This has been by far the worst purchase experience of my life. Come on Steve, quit playing games with me and your inability to honestly communicate. The last email you sent included install pdfs and pics, no UPS tracking information whatsoever! Stop with the repeated empty promises and ship...
Sorry this has absolutely nothing to do with performance, but . . . . shortly I'm installing flat gunmetal aftermarket wheels and I'm ambivalent about the appearance with the stock chrome lug nuts. If you've gone away from chrome lug nuts with your wheels, what have you done (splined black...
I'm going to a 19/19 setup on my Gen 2 that, as you know, has the factory spare tire in the trunk. Also will be lowering a reasonable amount with coilovers and adding a BBK. Those that have gone the same route, do you have experience with the spare tire working out OK? Any jack point access...
See below from Ivan Ho our SoFL VCA rep forwarding an email about VCA member Rich Andria's experience at an open Corvette show in Ft. Myers. :yay: The 'all caps' are not mine.

Keeping the stainless steel pipes on my bike polished was always a chore until I decided to wrap a sock around the head of my old Craftsman detail sander. Works very well especially in tight spaces where no other polisher dare go. So today I tried it on my rockerbox (ooops, 'valve') cover. All...
I know the link is mainly to align the clutch and brake pedal heights, but I'm most interested in its ability to shorten pedal throw. For those who have done this mod, is pedal travel noticeably affected?
Thanks!

Received a copy in the mail yesterday; chock full of great Dodge info, past to present. Several pages on the Viper including a great two-page photo of dozens of Vipers in nested semi-circular arrays. Also spotted what I think is the new Viper. Great copy. Anyone else get one? I understand it...
This time of year in southern Florida is 'love bug' mating season (aka honeymoon fly, kissingbug or double-headedbug), with the flies swarming mostly it seems on highways adjacent to farmlands. So bad they can cover the front of any vehicle almost entirely with bug splat in a matter of a few...
Folks with the cans . . . what amounts of oil are you collecting over miles driven? I typically collect about 4 oz over 3000 miles with the Challenger. Do you see oil blowby to the intake a significant Viper performance issue i.e. timing retard etc.?
