OK, I know noise questions are difficult without hearing them, but here goes.... The car is a '98 RT/10 and it started making this sound recently. The sound is only when starting moving from a stopped position and seems to be worse when starting forward with the wheels turned (either way). It only lasts for a few seconds and stops once the car is over say 10 miles an hour. The sound is kind of a medium high screech but with a "musical note", not like nails on a chalkboard. The sound is not reproduced if turning the wheels when stopped. Steering fluid is normal and no leaks seen from below. Another strange thing is that the sound does not happen every time the car starts...it's more like 60% of the time (and sometimes it is louder than others). Thanks in advance!!

Oh, also....the noise seems to be coming from the front of the car and I can kind of "feel" the screech in the shifter.

Loose front wheel bearing! When turning the rotor tips and what you hear is brake squeal. Re-torque the WB to 150 ft lbs and see if the noise goes away.
