Anyone use AMSOIL @gears,good for 10th!

Is the stock gear lube the best?Back in the day we used AMSOIL, and cut a 10th.Will this work for the viper?A GURU ?,MARV S.,P.Norman or ???Thanks.

We use Amsoil oil, filers, tranny fluid, and gear lube exclusively. It's excellent stuff and really keeps things cool, cutting down on frictional losses. That in and of itself will help increase hp, therefore reducing quarter mile times. 1/10 sec. in the quarter is pretty hard to measure, though. There are so many variables (traction, weather, reaction time, etc.) that it'd be hard to attribute 1/10 sec. to gear oil. In any case, Amsoil certainly helps.
