Hi everyone,

I just bought a Dodge Viper a couple weeks ago. The battery died the next day. The following day I left for vacation and just got back, purchased a new battery, installed it, and now the doors won't open. Has this ever happened to anyone and does anyone know how to fix it? I see there is a key hole under the mirror, but when I turn it, it won't move.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Derek

Do you have a service manual for reference?

This is an excerpt from using the search feature on the website:
Found out in the Service Manual that the Computers go into Battery Save Mode or Sleep Mode, All you have to do is push down on the Drivers door Latch to turn the Computers back on, I hadn't tried that as the key fob would not unlock the doors, Now the Batterys Charged, hit the door latch

Try pushing on the door when turning the key.
