Hello Guys,

just wanted to tell that I've picked up my (first)
red Viper GTS yesterday (interior: red/bleack leather)
Have been driven 450 km since yesterday in the evening.

This is the best and exciting car I've ever driven!
My pulse is getting up every time I see it.

I also wanted to thank all the nice people here
who helped me within my newbie questions!

The car will get the 2002er white stripes soon.
Pics will follow then if someone likes to see some.

Oli- Folks in the USA are just waking up. Let me be the first to congatulate you on your Viper. Just last week I met a couple on vacation from Germany at a car show. They were very excited to see a Viper (That's my sons dream car). No snow until January please!

Yes,97 is a good year for the GTS. You will love stripes, a must for all GTS owners.
If you want to hear the v-10 get rid of the rear muffler, quick and easy.

@Venumish
Sure it's not the stock exhaust - should be an "Eisemann"-exhaust, the pre owner has it installed once.
Great sound, but on longer turns a little bit annoying ...
Otherwise, nice to look at.
By the way, the has an "Eibach-Fahrwerk" (don't know the englisch expression ...) which is 25mm deeper than stock.

@ViperJim
It's not so easy in germany to get rid of the standard plates.
I won't get jailed :), but the fines differ between the individual countries and states.
