Ahhhhh, That's what I get for thinking and typing too early in the morning.

I was thinking of several ways of trying to show where the light was coming from and typed them into one sentence...

One of the Ideas I was mulling over this morning is to place something white in the same position as the seat would be if the car was in the garage. If the paper was marked or burnt then the problem is not with the car itself.

The last time something got warm in Dave's garage was due to the reflection from his tires...

Anyway there are alot of possible solutions. I sure that Dave will eventually figure it all out.

I remember reading aobut this problem way back when the first Gen2 coupes came out. The rear hatch glass fcouses the sun down to a superhot beam. Do a search way-back and you might find some of the posts.
