Is there another way to open the trunk without the key fob?

Uh, I agree with Mike but I think the key is an alternative - as long as you are not inside!

Do you mean from inside the car? You can open it with the car running, using the key fob, as long as you have the emergency brake on. If this is NOT what you mean then I think you should get in the trunk like sylvansrt suggests

I think the doors need to be unlocked, and/or e-brake up, for the key fob to work.
