Hope some of you can give me a little piece of mind. Drove the new SRT/10 about 130 miles Sun. in by far the warmest weather this year in Chi. area about 65 to 70 degrees. In my 97, I only heard injector clicking when it was cold say below 50 to 55 degrees but certainly didn't get any noise when weather got warm. And yes I'm comparing this noise with top down on SRT versus top off on old RT/10. Anyway, is it normal to hear injector noise in you SRT's idling and low speed? Of cource when you get 40 to 50 mph the wind drowns it out. What I will add here is that my 97 hood had no louvers, so for those of you who had 98's and up (louvered hoods) was some injector noise normal? Non louvered hood could have keep the clicking down? And if you SRT owners say thats normal for us, so be it, I just want to know it's normal are not. Any comments would be appreciated.
