Who has added stripes through the license plate area on their GTS ?

Was thinking of doing this to my Steel Gray car. Has anyone done this with tape or paint ?

I had them painted in on my 2001 Sapphire/Silver GTS. Sorry no pics, but I think it looks much better. More finished.

I don't think this will be the car for the major mods. Might be selling to buy a Pre-Creampuff car to do that. This is my favorite color combo on a GTS but I might go with a DIY TT kit on a forged piston car.
