    1993 Viper Dash

Lots my first reply, I think. I had mine water dipped to look like carbonfiber. I think it came out well. Needed a parts store fiberglass kit and a few washers to strengthen attachment point.

    1993 Viper Dash

Never reply on a phone... Anyhow, the dash will probably need some repairs. If iterested, I can send pics when I return from AK.

whats the diff in Michelin Sport Cups & Sport Cup Zero's? or is there no difference?

Re: whats the diff in Michelin Sport Cups & Sport Cup Zero's? or is there no differen whats the diff in Michelin Sport Cups & Sport Cup Zero's? or is there no difference? The difference is that: The Zero's are run flat tires. So, if you don't have a spare tire, which means you should have...

Ultra rare Gen 1 dash in classifieds!

Chrysler did not use paint. They dipped the dashes in a new type of crayola. Same coating as the stealth fighters, I think.

    Gen1 dash removal and painting?

I bought a fiberglass kit at the auto shop and formed a washer between the layers of fiberglass. Every attachment point, except one, on my 54K mile, 95 was cracked or broken off. Not sure if it will hold together, but it feels stronger than the stock plastic. I really don't know who though it...

Has anyone installed adjustable pedals in a Gen I?

Im sure it wont just bolt in. I've got the original 95, and replacement (used) 95 and a adjustable 96. Definitely different, and will not bolt right in. I am really in need for a shop within a few hundred miles of Memphis, but have yet to find one.

Has anyone installed adjustable pedals in a Gen I?

I've got 95 RT and the clutch pedal actually fell off last summer during the Hot Rod Power tour. Had to do with the plastic bushing going out and before I knew it, I was speed shifting from Detroit back to Memphis. Since then, I have purchased a replace assymbly for a 95, and a 96, with...

    Refinished the instrument panel

Well, having a 95, I am tired of the pitted flat black look. Although it is fun to fill your fingernails with black paint when bored on long drives. Unless there is a better solution out there, other than replacing sticky, pitting, flat black paint with new paint that will turn to sticky...

How many miles should a brand new Viper have?

:(Mine had 47 miles on it March of '95. My Jeep had 8 miles. Was not happy with dealer, and I'm sure they put the extra on. I had bought directly from Chrysler Military sales, so it was a fleet vehicle not retail. That being said, above posts are right. Doesn't really matter, it is new when...

Just curious, what was the final on this car?

Remember the first time you drove a Viper?

I was able to buy mine from the Military Overseas Sales Department (2% below MSRP) in 1995. The car was shipped from the factory to Hawaii, but was a couple months late. At the time, the Hawaii markup was $25K and I picked mine up for $52K total. Before I pulled the trigger, I checked with...

    Next viper interior

I will state up front, I bought my Viper in '95 because of the motor. Exterior styling (in that day) was also a plus. Never really thought about the interior until it was about three years old. Now, all of the plastic has cracked or broken where it is screwed together. Elastic in seat...
