new 2006 srt convert
The "lifter" noise is normal. There are many posts on it here and you can do a search and find them. Also, My brother has a Carrera 4 S. Nice car, but he becomes flush with embarassment everytime he tries to challenge the mighty Viper.- Back-In-Black

Its parked on RAP (recycled asphault product) at a small air strip near my home. Very firm material; less damaging than the pothole and ice salt and sand infested roads of New England. WHEN is there going to be an 08 Viper vs Z06 in the mags?
First they have to produce the darn thing and get it to the automotive press. I don't think there is any question, however, that performance wise the VIPER WILL SMOKE the Zo6, but I bet the spoiled old baby boomer writers with their traction controlled, hybrid lovin, politically correct...- Back-In-Black

I have had two black Vipers and find it is the best looking and classiest color but it must be kept clean. The best part is you will almost be forced to keep it clean since the dirt will show, but you will have the peice of mind your vehicle is well cared for. water seeping in through dr/pas window and rear
Mine leaks in the exact spots you mention but only when direct water pressure is applied at those points. No leaking when I lightly spray these areas or when I (unfortunatley) got caught in moderate rain.- Back-In-Black
