Buying a low mile Gen 1 Viper, any tips for what to expect?
Check very carefully for leaks around the heads. Head gaskets were cheap and needed replacing on most cars and it's not a cheap repair. I would also suggest letting Dan Craigen go through it prior to purchase. He's the best on the west coast. I know from experience.- Bad_Byte

I totally can relate to your story, thanks for sharing. I thought I was the only one..... LOL By the way, the problem with needing to push the clutch in ALL THE WAY may be related to the bushings the pedals hang on. They are notorious for wearing out. Harland Sharp roller rockers!

Sta-Bil gas stabilizer... is it ok to use it regularly for the weekend
I used it once, never again. I have a multitude of small gas engines, lawnmowers, **** eaters, hedge trimmers etc. Some of them sit for months and never get used. I never had a single carburator problem until I started mixing stabil in the gas. Within a month or two I started getting gummed up...- Bad_Byte
