While the engine is cold run water from the garden hose on the top of the center of the plenum (intake) to the top of the engine. (Of course not inside the engine) This will dilute the antifreeze and wash it out. If you wish you could dump a bucket of soapy watter in there too. After that run...- Bolt

Great idea with the dark wire mesh. I'll do that after the show. Thank you for the great idea. :headbang: There is nothing under that part of the cowl to be concerned with washing or getting wet. It does already make a difference. Just remove yours and run the car to see how much of a difference it makes. I can see the heat coming out when I am sitting at a red light. The engine cools down quicker too after I shut it off. Also remember I put a hole in my speaker cover and that realy has...- Bolt

Custom Hood Design: Need Feedback
I would be interested in this hood but I also see changes I would like. The biggest problem with my car is getting rid of the heat. Basic AMP draw study on 98 GTS
This is all good stuff and the detail here is great. So when we put the Paxton setup on these cars we need to swap out the crank shaft pulley. As it is smaller it tends to spin the alternator pulley slower. Hence a smaller alternator pulley would make up for the difference in diameter in...- Bolt

How can I make my Viper quiet?
I don't have the answer but I just bought a new volt/ohm meter from harbor freight which has a db sound level tester. I only paid $35 for this meter and the db tester works great. It would be a good idea for you to check your own level of sound.- Bolt
