Gen5 Heads and cam package release info
Are the Gen 4 pistons really that week? I have a 2001 "cream puff" stock bottom end that has been living at 909 rwhp with striker heads/cam/paxton for 4 yrs. I cant see doing a heads/cam pkg on a gen 4 being too much power for cast pistons, or is it that the gen 4 pistons don't have the...- FastMatt

no more viper (no more sports car for me)
I understand what you are saying, my back problems have been making it harder and harder to drive a sick shift around town and getting in and out of my Viper is a bit ******* my back. Dodge preparing supercharged, Convertible Vipers for 2016?
Not if they keep the motor 8.4L, make the blower 3.0+L and run lo boost like 6 ish pounds. That will get the current 640 motor to over 800 easy, and not build hardly any heat.- FastMatt

No entry level viper
STR just needs to make the motor 10L or FI with 800 hp and call it a day. I love vipers but the new Zo6 is going to destroy the gen 5 viper and do it for 50K less money.- FastMatt

18k - too many miles?
If that dealer was selling your viper they would have it advertised at "super lo miles" I have gone threw the same crap before, I had a 8 yr old lotus once that a dealer told me was "way too many miles" it had just under 8,000 miles on it, so they would only offer me $10,000 under book trade...- FastMatt
