    Anyone have a B&M shifter or another short throw shifter?

    The round knob on a Gen 2 doesn't come off.... It's part of the shifter, the whole chrome shaft & ball come off as 1 unit.

    What grade gas do you use??

    My gas cap cover has a big label that CAUTIONS: "Use premium unleaded ONLY". I've always used premium / 93 octane minimum in any performance car !!

    Mine are vinyl also, like you I put them on to make sure I liked it before painting them on later.. I like the Red w/Black MUCH MORE than the factory Red/white!!!

    I've found that with most performance cars you get little or nothing extra for the mods you add. Like ROCKET62 says "most people want a bone stock car"... Lots of mods may also indicate to many people that it's been driven hard and/or raced. My last car was a C5 Vette... I bought it for $30k+...

    I also agree with Newport Viper... I want something similar to that Corvette top!!!! The Corvette top is a lot smaller than the Viper top, so it can't be "adapted" to work for a Viper.
