Paul is correct, just make sure it's stock and smog compliant, as would be the case with any Viper you find in CA. Here's an old thread that makes it appear that '98 and later are 50 state compliant, regardless of mileage.

Matte finish can present a real challenge. As mentioned a good glass cleaner can work just fine. Challenge is any real rubbing of the matte finish can start to turn matte finish to a sheen finish.
Free2go: Seems you are the only one who does not appreciate the ads, so you know how to fix that, you are Free2go from this thread and not return.. You have disrespected him
whether or not you see that.
Bonkers: Nice work.
My first Viper was a GTS with Gold wheels and emblems. This choice of wheels was an option and obviously chosen by few. At the same time, it is now somewhat rare, but to date has never added value. So proper pricing would be same as a '97 Red GTS, your thought of asking $40K is a great...
That is totally awesome, I anticipated it being really nice. I saw my first one in Reno NV when they were holding a Trans Am race around the MGM Grand and Chrysler had one on display as they had just come out. Absolutely became my favorite modern muscle car of all time and that has never...
Reliable has a fleet second to none, their transporters are spotless, and they charge accordingly. That being the case, Inter-City delivered two vipers to me, all went great and I would choose them again. I am not familiar with United Routes.
Badasp007's '96 with 29,000 miles is a very, very fair deal, even after you add shipping. Paul Hawker has been around and his insights are spot on. Buy the '96, nothing as iconic as the '96. I know a guy selling his super clean '97 only because he wants a '96. However, I admit to being bias...
Thanks for the find. My body shop ended taking a red and painting blue, cannot tell from original on other side. I might check this out anyway, they're pretty straight up on their admission that it is not OE.
Wanted, Does it really matter to those of us that have and enjoy. My Vipers deliver an experience like no other car I have owned and the heck with the future value, cannot put a price on the fun I have with mine.
Just saw your post, bought one a couple weeks ago with 1,100 miles. Paid $80K, was happy with the deal, but wow, you're deal was unreal. Hope you are enjoying.
